Cook For New York
Via food and friendships, Cook For New York aims to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The idea for Cook For {insert a cause name here} was born last year, when I decided to organize a get-together among friends called, Cook For Thailand, to help with a great flood relief in my hometown, Bangkok.
The concept of Cook For A Cause is simple. In lieu of wine/hostess gift, we asked for a suggested donation to help with Sandy relief. A few of our friends also helped cook their best dishes for the event. In our small ways, Cook For NY raised the total of $740. Thank you everyone for your generosity.
